I purchased several bottles of olive oil as a gift. They all arrived in beautiful packaging—a pleasant surprise, as this hadn't been clear from the description. Histoire

La famille Antinori produit du vin en Toscane depuis plus de 26 générations, depuis que Giovanni di Piero Antinori est devenu membre de la guilde des vignerons florentins en 1385. Aujourd'hui, ils produisent de superbes vins sur plusieurs domaines différents en Toscane ainsi que dans les meilleures régions viticoles de Californie, du Chili, de Hongrie et de Malte. Tenuta Guado al Tasso est leur propriété qui occupe un site de choix dans la prestigieuse DOC Bolgheri, sur la côte toscane.

La proximité des vignobles avec la mer ici signifie qu'ils bénéficient d'un climat doux avec des brises rafraîchissantes pendant les chauds mois d'été et les sols alluviaux bien drainants font que les vignes doivent creuser profondément pour accéder aux sources d'eau. Les vignes d'Antinori sont également plantées au pied de l'amphithéâtre de Bolgheri, une magnifique plaine entourée de collines ondulées, qui crée un microclimat unique favorisant une maturation lente et le développement d'un profil de saveur intense et complexe dans les raisins.
