Mullineux a été fondé par l'équipe mari et femme Andrea et Chris Mullineux en 2007 après que le couple ait passé de nombreux millésimes à travailler dans des domaines viticoles en France, en Californie et en Afrique du Sud. Dans la mesure du possible, ils poursuivent des pratiques de vinification durables et n'ajoutent qu'une infime quantité de soufre dans le chai pour préserver le caractère naturel de la variété et du terroir.
