A Birthday to Remember with DAOU & Colomé
Celebrating my mother’s birthday was made even more special thanks to two incredible wines—DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 and Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020.
The star of the evening was undoubtedly the DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. From the first sip, it enveloped us in its rich, velvety embrace. The deep dark fruit flavors, hints of cocoa, and perfectly balanced oak made every glass feel like a true indulgence. It was bold yet elegant, a wine that effortlessly brought warmth and joy to our gathering. Seeing my mother savor each sip with a smile made it all the more memorable.
The Colomé Auténtico Malbec also delivered beautifully, with its pure expression of high-altitude Malbec. It was powerful, with ripe blackberries, spice, and a smooth, lingering finish—an excellent complement to the evening.
These wines didn’t just enhance our meal; they became part of the celebration, elevating every toast and conversation. A heartfelt thank you to DAOU and Colomé for making this special occasion truly unforgettable!

Un anniversaire inoubliable avec DAOU & Colomé
La célébration de l'anniversaire de ma mère a été rendue encore plus spéciale grâce à deux vins incroyables - DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 et Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020.
La star de la soirée était sans aucun doute le DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. Dès la première gorgée, il nous a enveloppés de son étreinte riche et veloutée. Les profondes saveurs de fruits noirs, les notes de cacao et le chêne parfaitement équilibré ont fait de chaque verre un véritable plaisir. C'était un vin à la fois audacieux et élégant, qui a apporté sans effort chaleur et joie à notre réunion. Voir ma mère savourer chaque gorgée avec le sourire n'en a été que plus mémorable.
Le Colomé Auténtico Malbec s'est lui aussi révélé magnifique, avec sa pure expression de Malbec de haute altitude. Il était puissant, avec des mûres mûres, des épices et une finale douce et persistante - un excellent complément à la soirée.
Ces vins n'ont pas seulement rehaussé notre repas ; ils ont fait partie de la fête, rehaussant chaque toast et chaque conversation. Nous remercions chaleureusement DAOU et Colomé d'avoir fait de cette occasion spéciale un moment inoubliable !

L'histoire du Domaine Jessiaume a commencé il y a près de 200 ans, en 1850.
Ce vin Les Gravières présente un nez généreux, plein de baies rouges et rugueux, avec des notes de terre, de cacao et de pétales de rose. La bouche présente un caractère charnu, avec de beaux tanins croquants, une acidité juteuse et un fruité concentré. On y retrouve les notes classiques du Pinot Noir : prune, framboise et fraise, avec des nuances de truffe et de cuir. Il s'agit d'un vin de grande qualité, qui bénéficiera sans doute d'un vieillissement prolongé. Pensez à l'associer à un gibier fin, comme le lapin, ou à un fromage à pâte molle.
Le Domaine Jessiaume a accès à certains des plus grands vignobles de Bourgogne, notamment le premier cru "Les Gravières", dont il possède 3,8 hectares. Le terroir est défini par ses sols riches en minéraux, composés principalement de calcaire et de gravier, qui élèvent toute vigne qui s'y enracine. Ce vin Les Gravières présente un nez généreux, plein de fruits rouges et rugueux, avec des notes de terre, de cacao et de pétales de rose. La bouche présente un caractère charnu, avec de beaux tanins croquants, une acidité juteuse et un fruité bien présent.
