Le processus d'achat et le choix des produits sont bons mais le service de livraison avec UPS est misérable. Je n'achèterai plus malheureusement à cause de la livraison par UPS qui ne respecte jamais la date et l'heure et qui donne une fausse excuse d'absence alors que j'étais là et que j'ai pris un jour de congé pour être là.

    La cave Ktima Gerovassiliou est née en 1981, de l'idée de Vangelis Gerovassiliou de faire revivre le vignoble familial en plantant des cépages locaux dont le Malagousia, presque disparu, et d'autres cépages internationaux. Chez Ktima Gerovassiliou, les vignobles sont traités avec une énorme attention, et les dernières technologies modernes sont combinées à la tradition par la viticulture et la vinification pour produire des vins de haute qualité qui reflètent toutes les caractéristiques distinctives du terroir d'Epanomi.

    Les vignes de Viognier, plantées en 1993 et gérées de manière écologiquement durable, sont situées à quelques kilomètres de la mer. Ici, les sols sont principalement sableux et riches en fossiles marins, tandis que le climat est méditerranéen, avec des hivers doux et des étés chauds. Les raisins subissent une période de macération sur les peaux à basse température pour faciliter l'extraction des arômes. La fermentation a lieu dans des fûts de chêne français, et le vin est ensuite élevé sur les lies pour renforcer sa riche onctuosité et sa structure.

    Le Viognier Ktima Gerovassiliou est un vin parfumé et très expressif avec des arômes de fruits à noyau et de fruits exotiques, de pêche et de poire, et de délicates notes florales de jasmin. En bouche, le vin est élégant et possède une bonne structure, avec un subtil accent fumé en finale et un arrière-goût persistant et agréable. Essayez-le avec des crevettes, du crabe ou du homard.
