Un anniversaire inoubliable avec DAOU & Colomé La célébration de l'anniversaire de ma mère a été rendue encore plus spéciale grâce à deux vins incroyables - DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 et Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. La star de la soirée était sans aucun doute le DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. Dès la première gorgée, il nous a enveloppés de son étreinte riche et veloutée. Les profondes saveurs de fruits noirs, les notes de cacao et le chêne parfaitement équilibré ont fait de chaque verre un véritable plaisir. C'était un vin à la fois audacieux et élégant, qui a apporté sans effort chaleur et joie à notre réunion. Voir ma mère savourer chaque gorgée avec le sourire n'en a été que plus mémorable. Le Colomé Auténtico Malbec s'est lui aussi révélé magnifique, avec sa pure expression de Malbec de haute altitude. Il était puissant, avec des mûres mûres, des épices et une finale douce et persistante - un excellent complément à la soirée. Ces vins n'ont pas seulement rehaussé notre repas ; ils ont fait partie de la fête, rehaussant chaque toast et chaque conversation. Nous remercions chaleureusement DAOU et Colomé d'avoir fait de cette occasion spéciale un moment inoubliable !

    "Matua" est le mot maori qui signifie "chef de famille", et c'est un surnom approprié étant donné que ce modeste établissement vinicole a élaboré le tout premier sauvignon blanc de Nouvelle-Zélande en 1974. Bien que le projet n'ait débuté qu'avec un minuscule hangar en tôle et deux frères, Bill et Ross Spence, la cave jouit aujourd'hui d'une réputation mondiale pour ses délicieux vins élaborés à partir de cépages internationaux classiques.

    Ce vin rafraîchissant et vif est élaboré à partir de 100 % de raisins pinot noir provenant de la région de Marlborough en Nouvelle-Zélande, connue pour son climat frais et ses conditions de croissance idéales pour les raisins pinot noir. Les raisins sont récoltés la nuit pour préserver leur fraîcheur, puis pressés délicatement pour en extraire le jus.

    Dès que vous versez un verre, vous remarquerez la couleur rose vibrante et les arômes séduisants de fraises, de framboises et de melon d'eau au nez. En bouche, le vin est croquant et vif, avec des saveurs de baies rouges écrasées et un soupçon subtil d'agrumes. La finale est nette et sèche, ce qui en fait un excellent choix pour les temps chauds et les rassemblements en plein air, ou pour accompagner les salades de feuilles, les sushis ou les plats asiatiques épicés.
