    Histoire

    L'histoire de 689 Cellars remonte à 2008. Curtis McBride avait passé de nombreuses années dans le secteur du vin à commercialiser et vendre des vins dans le monde entier, son ami et vigneron Kent Rasmussen avait passé de nombreuses années à élaborer des vins exceptionnels en Californie. Après de nombreux allers-retours en Extrême-Orient, Curtis et Kent ont décidé qu'ils pouvaient utiliser des éléments de la numérologie chinoise pour exprimer leurs idéaux pour une cave parfaite.

    689 Cellars est un projet passionnant basé en Californie dont le nom est inspiré des voyages de ses fondateurs en Asie, où ils ont été frappés par la sagesse et les traditions anciennes qui jouent encore un rôle important dans la vie quotidienne. Les chiffres six, huit et neuf sont considérés comme chanceux dans la culture chinoise ; le six est lié au bonheur et nous aide à traverser la vie avec chance et succès, tandis que la forme symétrique du huit fait allusion à l'éternité et aux opportunités illimitées. Enfin, le neuf est lié à la longévité et est considéré comme le chiffre le plus chanceux de tous.
