Le processus d'achat et le choix des produits sont bons mais le service de livraison avec UPS est misérable. Je n'achèterai plus malheureusement à cause de la livraison par UPS qui ne respecte jamais la date et l'heure et qui donne une fausse excuse d'absence alors que j'étais là et que j'ai pris un jour de congé pour être là.

    La famille Matetic a déménagé de Croatie à Punta Arenas, à l'extrémité sud du Chili, en 1892 et a commencé à élever des moutons et à produire des produits laitiers dans la région. En 1999, la famille s'est lancée dans la viticulture et, après avoir longuement étudié le terroir local, elle a décidé de planter ses vignes dans la vallée de Rosario, à seulement 15 km de l'océan Pacifique. Les conditions ici sont idéales pour la vinification premium grâce aux journées chaudes et ensoleillées, aux nuits fraîches et aux brises de l'océan qui aident à modérer les températures pendant l'été.

    Ce vin fait partie de leur gamme Corralillo qui tire son nom d'une ancienne cave à vin dans la vallée de Rosario. Les fruits proviennent de Maipo près de Santiago, de Colchagua et de San Antonio et les vignobles sont gérés selon les principes biodynamiques afin de produire des raisins de la meilleure qualité possible. Après la vinification, le jeune vin est élevé en fûts de chêne français pendant 11 mois.

    Au nez, on retrouve des notes séduisantes de baies rouges, d'herbes séchées et d'épices tandis que la première gorgée révèle une structure élégante, un corps léger et des tanins fins. Le caractère vibrant et fruité de ce Pinot en fait un excellent choix pour accompagner le canard, les plats de pâtes à base de tomates ou un généreux plateau de fromages et de charcuterie.
