Le processus d'achat et le choix des produits sont bons mais le service de livraison avec UPS est misérable. Je n'achèterai plus malheureusement à cause de la livraison par UPS qui ne respecte jamais la date et l'heure et qui donne une fausse excuse d'absence alors que j'étais là et que j'ai pris un jour de congé pour être là.

    Entreprise familiale, Pegasus Bay a été fondée dans les années 70 par l'engagement de la famille Donaldson. Convaincus que la voie de la qualité passe par l'apport minimal de substances dans les raisins et les vins, les propriétaires se sont engagés sur la voie de la durabilité tant dans le vignoble que dans la cave. Opérant sur l'île du Sud de la Nouvelle-Zélande, elle peut être considérée comme l'une des caves pionnières de toute la nation dans la recherche d'un compromis entre l'innovation et le respect de l'environnement.

    Les raisins de Riesling proviennent de la région de Canterbury Nord où la forte amplitude thermique entre le jour et la nuit et les longs automnes créent les conditions idéales pour cette variété. Les raisins sont récoltés tardivement avec une part de botrytis noble, et le moût est fermenté à une température contrôlée pour aider le vin à exprimer les caractères uniques de la région.

    Le vin a une couleur jaune intense. Le nez est un mélange explosif de pêches, abricots, litchis, chèvrefeuille et mandarine. En bouche, il est plein et minéral, avec une riche acidité et une finale sèche qui offre un excellent équilibre. C'est un vin distinctif mais très subtil.

    Dégustez-le avec des fruits de mer et des crustacés, mais son meilleur compagnon sera la cuisine asiatique.
