Le processus d'achat et le choix des produits sont bons mais le service de livraison avec UPS est misérable. Je n'achèterai plus malheureusement à cause de la livraison par UPS qui ne respecte jamais la date et l'heure et qui donne une fausse excuse d'absence alors que j'étais là et que j'ai pris un jour de congé pour être là.

    El Vedao est un Garnacha complexe et corsé, aux notes de prune sauvage et de fraise, avec en arrière-plan des nuances d'épices à pain, de poivre et d'herbes séchées au soleil. Les raisins proviennent de certains des vignobles les plus anciens et les plus élevés de la Rioja. Dans des régions telles que La Revilla, Terreras et Las Naves, les vignobles ont entre 35 et 100 ans et poussent sur une roche calcaire riche en minéraux.

    Bodegas Bhilar est une cave à petite échelle, détenue et exploitée par le couple de choc formé par David Sampedro et Melanie Hickman. La cave se trouve dans la région d'Elvillar, dans la Rioja Alavesa, l'une des meilleures régions de vins rouges d'Espagne, réputée pour son altitude élevée. Bhilar a toujours été une entreprise familiale, et le duo mari et femme adopte une approche traditionnelle et sans compromis de la vinification.

    Le sens de l'artisanat des vignerons transparaît dans le palais, qui est élégant et étagé, avec une structure puissante. Dès la première gorgée, les fruits rouges typiques de Garnacha dominent, suivis de notes de garrigue, de fumée de tabac, de cuir, de vanille et de cacao. Les tanins sont fins et discrets. Il s'agit d'un Rioja de bonne facture, emblématique de la région d'Elvillar. Pensez à l'associer à du chorizo, des viandes rôties ou un ragoût végétarien.
