Un anniversaire inoubliable avec DAOU & Colomé La célébration de l'anniversaire de ma mère a été rendue encore plus spéciale grâce à deux vins incroyables - DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 et Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. La star de la soirée était sans aucun doute le DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. Dès la première gorgée, il nous a enveloppés de son étreinte riche et veloutée. Les profondes saveurs de fruits noirs, les notes de cacao et le chêne parfaitement équilibré ont fait de chaque verre un véritable plaisir. C'était un vin à la fois audacieux et élégant, qui a apporté sans effort chaleur et joie à notre réunion. Voir ma mère savourer chaque gorgée avec le sourire n'en a été que plus mémorable. Le Colomé Auténtico Malbec s'est lui aussi révélé magnifique, avec sa pure expression de Malbec de haute altitude. Il était puissant, avec des mûres mûres, des épices et une finale douce et persistante - un excellent complément à la soirée. Ces vins n'ont pas seulement rehaussé notre repas ; ils ont fait partie de la fête, rehaussant chaque toast et chaque conversation. Nous remercions chaleureusement DAOU et Colomé d'avoir fait de cette occasion spéciale un moment inoubliable !

    A Birthday to Remember with DAOU & Colomé Celebrating my mother’s birthday was made even more special thanks to two incredible wines—DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 and Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. From the first sip, it enveloped us in its rich, velvety embrace. The deep dark fruit flavors, hints of cocoa, and perfectly balanced oak made every glass feel like a true indulgence. It was bold yet elegant, a wine that effortlessly brought warmth and joy to our gathering. Seeing my mother savor each sip with a smile made it all the more memorable. The Colomé Auténtico Malbec also delivered beautifully, with its pure expression of high-altitude Malbec. It was powerful, with ripe blackberries, spice, and a smooth, lingering finish—an excellent complement to the evening. These wines didn’t just enhance our meal; they became part of the celebration, elevating every toast and conversation. A heartfelt thank you to DAOU and Colomé for making this special occasion truly unforgettable!

    Avec une histoire remontant à 1906, Nervi-Conterno est le plus ancien producteur de Gattinara encore en activité. En 2018, la cave a été rachetée par Roberto Conterno, le chef de la célèbre cave Giacomo Conterno. Gattinara est une branche souvent méconnue de la région du Piémont, célèbre pour ses vins de Nebbiolo qui surpassent souvent le Barolo en termes de longévité. Celui-ci provient des sols volcaniques de Valferana, l'un des crus les plus célèbres de la région, réputé pour conférer à ses vins une qualité sanguine et riche en fer.

    Le Vigna Valferana de Nervi s'ouvre sur un bouquet étonnant de baies rouges balsamiques et acidulées, de minéralité saline et de pétales de rose séchés. Composé à 100 % de Nebbiolo, il aura besoin d'un peu de temps pour révéler tout son potentiel. Après une fermentation en acier inoxydable, il a passé 36 mois en chêne, vieillissant dans un mélange de fûts français et slaves.

    Il apparaît dans le verre d'un rouge vif, avec de légers reflets orangés. En bouche, vous découvrirez des notes gourmandes de cerise acide et de groseille rouge, avec des nuances de tabac, de cuir frais, d'herbes séchées et de balsamique. Ce vin est idéal pour accompagner des plats audacieux, tels que la venaison, le bœuf et les fromages affinés.
