Le processus d'achat et le choix des produits sont bons mais le service de livraison avec UPS est misérable. Je n'achèterai plus malheureusement à cause de la livraison par UPS qui ne respecte jamais la date et l'heure et qui donne une fausse excuse d'absence alors que j'étais là et que j'ai pris un jour de congé pour être là.

    Fondé sous le nom de Hedges Cellars par Tom et Anne-Marie Hedges, Hedges Family Estate est encore aujourd'hui une entreprise familiale considérée comme l'une des plus importantes de l'État de Washington et de l'AVA Red Mountain. Aujourd'hui, la fille d'Anne-Marie et Tom, Sarah, est la vigneronne en chef et leur fils Christophe est le directeur général. Les pratiques agricoles sont devenues biologiques.

    Les raisins 100% Syrah proviennent du vignoble Les Gosses, situé dans la petite mais célèbre AVA Red Mountain, planté avec les clones de Joseph Phelps et Tablas Creek. Le vin est élevé en fûts neufs pendant 19 mois.

    Cette élégante Syrah de la région viticole de Red Mountain présente des arômes classiques de fruits rouges et de myrtilles, des notes épicées de poivre noir et de graines de cumin, des touches sucrées de pâte sablée à la vanille et de cacao noir. En bouche, les notes fruitées sucrées et épicées reviennent avec intensité et vous aurez une belle vivacité avec une finale douce et soyeuse. C'est un vin avec du corps et un caractère fort mais aussi très persuasif. Essayez-le avec un succulent steak, un agneau rôti épicé ou des champignons Portobello rôtis.
