Le processus d'achat et le choix des produits sont bons mais le service de livraison avec UPS est misérable. Je n'achèterai plus malheureusement à cause de la livraison par UPS qui ne respecte jamais la date et l'heure et qui donne une fausse excuse d'absence alors que j'étais là et que j'ai pris un jour de congé pour être là.

    Le vignoble chilien La Ronciere est né en 1949 grâce au dévouement de Don Fernando Orueta pour la production de vins de haute qualité. Opérant dans toute la vallée centrale du Chili avec 740 acres de vignobles, l'entreprise a réussi à se concentrer sur de petites productions contrôlées, sans industrialisation. Aujourd'hui, les trois frères Orueta travaillent ensemble avec le vinificateur Juan A. Muñoz pour continuer à produire des vins de la plus haute qualité qui sont expressifs de leur terroir d'origine.

    Ce vin d'un grand corps et d'une grande élégance est produit à partir de raisins Merlot (avec de petits ajouts de Malbec et de Syrah) provenant des vignobles du domaine Idahue, situé à 25 km de l'océan Pacifique à Licantén. Le vin est élevé pendant 10 mois en fûts de chêne français.

    Le Ronciere Licanten Merlot présente une couleur rouge profond et généreux. Au nez, le vin révèle les arômes fruités typiques de prunes noires et de baies noires. En bouche, c'est un vin musclé et volumineux, sec et aux tanins soyeux. Il a un corps plein et une excellente concentration de fruits. La finale est fraîche et rappelle des notes légèrement boisées. C'est un vin très polyvalent en combinaison avec la nourriture : il est parfait avec l'agneau ou le veau rôti, le filet mignon et la viande rouge braisée.
