Le processus d'achat et le choix des produits sont bons mais le service de livraison avec UPS est misérable. Je n'achèterai plus malheureusement à cause de la livraison par UPS qui ne respecte jamais la date et l'heure et qui donne une fausse excuse d'absence alors que j'étais là et que j'ai pris un jour de congé pour être là.

    Mer Soleil est situé dans les Santa Lucia Highlands qui est une bande étroite de 12 miles de long d'une appellation coincée le long des flancs orientaux de la chaîne de montagnes Santa Lucia. Il s'agit d'un district viticole à climat frais, idéalement placé pour bénéficier du soleil chaud du matin, suivi des vents maritimes et du brouillard de l'après-midi. C'est de là que vient le nom - mer (sea) et soleil (sun). Ce schéma météorologique prolonge la saison de croissance et signifie une maturation longue et douce des raisins, ce qui donne des vins riches et corsés.

    Le vin est fermenté et vieilli en fûts de chêne français pendant 12 à 15 mois avant d'être mis en bouteille. Seule une partie du vin passe par la fermentation malolactique, pour assurer une acidité naturelle brillante. Le brassage manuel des fûts permet de capturer davantage d'essence et de conférer une composante texturale crémeuse.

    Une couleur dorée profonde promet beaucoup. Au nez, les fruits à noyau mûrs, la pomme jaune et les agrumes sont proéminents, avec des notes de vanille - complexe et chaleureux.

    Le palais offre un vin riche et stratifié avec la pêche, la poire, l'ananas, la noix de coco et la banane. Une grande acidité est équilibrée avec un alcool élevé pour fournir une sensation en bouche riche qui a des tons de vanille et de beurre. Le vin est corsé et pulpeux - un exemple vraiment exceptionnel de Chardonnay à son meilleur.

    La finale est longue et beurrée vous donnant envie d'un autre verre !

    Il s'accorde fabuleusement avec le homard, le poisson, le veau et le poulet.
