Le processus d'achat et le choix des produits sont bons mais le service de livraison avec UPS est misérable. Je n'achèterai plus malheureusement à cause de la livraison par UPS qui ne respecte jamais la date et l'heure et qui donne une fausse excuse d'absence alors que j'étais là et que j'ai pris un jour de congé pour être là.

    La cave de Mirafiore est l'une des plus anciennes du Piémont. Fondée en 1858 par le comte de Mirafiore, Emanuele Guerrieri, fils de Vittorio Emanuele II, l'entreprise a connu un grand succès jusqu'au début de la Première Guerre mondiale. Après la faillite de 1930 et divers événements, la marque Mirafiore a été récupérée en 2009. L'entreprise produit aujourd'hui de grands vins issus de certains des vignobles les plus importants de l'appellation Barolo et, depuis 2018, elle a obtenu la certification biologique.

    Le Langhe Nebbiolo di Mirafiore est produit avec des raisins de Nebbiolo provenant de vignobles sélectionnés situés dans la municipalité de Serralunga d'Alba. Après la fermentation, qui se déroule à température contrôlée pendant 12 à 15 jours, le vin est vieilli dans de grands fûts de chêne de Slavonie pendant un an.

    Le vin a une couleur rouge grenat avec des reflets rubis. Son profil aromatique est large et révèle des notes florales et fruitées, des épices douces, du tabac et des notes de tamarin. En bouche, ce Nebbiolo est bien équilibré avec une bonne veine acide et des tanins souples. Il est élégant et harmonieux, avec une finale longue et persistante qui rappelle des notes balsamiques. Parfait avec des pâtes au ragoût de gibier, des viandes rôties et des fromages affinés.
